TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR APPOINTMENT
Y23 SPA will not sell or disclose the client’s personal information or details to any third party without the customers consent unless in the purpose of purchase/deposit/delivery or if necessary to comply with laws, investigations or legal proceedings.
Safety Policy
At Y23 SPA, we are committed to ensuring your personal safety while creating a safe environment for you to enjoy.
We plan to ensure that all treatments are carried out with the highest safety standards and in accordance with all Miami, Florida legislation requirements. All treatments will be performed by fully qualified staff using the highest cleaning protocols and safety measures.
Booking with Y23 SPA
A 50% deposit is required when making any reservation at Y23 SPA. This deposit will go towards the chosen or treatment reserved for that day. Confirmation and reminder emails will be sent upon booking and 24 hours prior to your appointment date. It is the client's responsibility to remember and take note of the reservation of their appointment. Y23 SPA is not responsible for remembering or confirming appointments with clients.
Cancellation Policy
A 24 hour cancellation policy is in effect with every reservation made on Y23 SPA. A text and email reminder will be sent 48 hours prior to your reservation, giving you ample opportunity to cancel, change or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours. Appointment slots cannot be changed to shorter times within 24 hours, please contact us if you need additional time for your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of your appointment, but may be forwarded to your next appointment if made within 24 hours.
Any cancellation made during the 24 hour period will result in the forfeiture of the deposit or fees collected at your next appointment. Same day cancellations, no-shows, or late arrivals of 15 minutes or more will result in forfeiture of deposit. Contact Y23 SPA immediately if any emergency or circumstance arises.
Paying at Y23 SPA
Y23 SPA accepts card and cash payments. All card payments made at Y23 SPA incur a 2.6% surcharge of the final amount owing on the client's treatment. No further fees are applied on cash.
Coming in for your appointment
Please arrive for your appointment 5 minutes prior to your reservation. If you arrive late, time will be deducted from your treatment and the full price will be charged. If you arrive late after 15 minutes of starting your appointment, it will result in the loss of your appointment and your deposit.
Pre & Post Care
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that they do not book treatments at other service providers that may conflict with their Y23 SPA appointment. Some treatments require careful skin preparation, avoidance of certain ingredients, specific aftercare, or sufficient spacing between other treatments.
It is the customer's responsibility to follow all pre and post care instructions to avoid damage, injury or reaction.
Most pre and post instructions may include:
Suspension of products containing exfoliating agents or active principles before or after according to the reserved treatment:
vitamin A or C, retinoic acid, tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, astringents, exfoliants, etc.
Applying SPF 30 or higher. Be careful with sun exposure.
The other post instructions are given depending on the treatment performed.
Consultations at Y23 SPA
Please ensure all information given during your consultation is honest and accurate to avoid any disappointment or receiving unsuitable treatments during your booking. It is the client’s responsibility to provide all information regarding their health or lifestyle or any ongoing changes at each visit to Y23 SPA. It is the client’s responsibility to inform the therapist of any discomfort they may experience during treatment, to allow the therapist to adjust accordingly. By agreeing to the terms stated above and signing the consultation form, you agree to waive all liabilities towards Y23 SPA for any injury or damage incurred due to any misrepresentation of your health history or any withheld information.
Special Condition, Illness or Medication.
Please notify Y23 SPA of any condition, disease or medication that may affect your skin prior to arriving for your appointment. Some conditions require a medical certificate from your physician or adjustment of treatment steps, products, or modalities to be performed safely and appropriately.
Manicure and Pedicure Services
Health and Safety
The client declares that they have no knowledge of any medical conditions, including but not limited to fungal infections, fungus, warts, or other contagious diseases on the nails or skin.
In the event of any condition mentioned, the client agrees to inform the nail technician before receiving any services. It is further understood that the client will not be attended to if any of these conditions are present. The client is advised to consult a podiatrist and address the condition before seeking any services.
Companion Policy
Companions Welcome
At Y23 SPA, we extend a cordial welcome to companions of our clients, with the aim of ensuring their experience at our establishment is both comfortable and enjoyable. Should clients desire to be accompanied by their partner during their service, we have designated an additional chair within the cabin for their convenience.
Our Commitment to Privacy
In line with our commitment to exceptional service, Y23 SPA recognizes and respects the preferences of our clientele. Thus, we have tailored our facilities accordingly. This thoughtful adjustment maintains the privacy and serenity that define the Y23 SPA experience for all our valued clients.
Child Policy
Children are not allowed to attend during any appointments made at Y23 SPA. Electrical equipment, hot steamers and chemicals are used in each treatment, making this an unsafe environment for young children. Unsupervised children will cause distraction and time taken away from your appointment and won't enable the therapist to perform the treatment correctly and on time.
Any person under the age of 18 years wishing to book an appointment, will require an adult to attend the appointment to provide written consent before the therapist can perform any treatments. An adult will always have to be present and stay during the duration of the entire treatment.
Refund or change of mind
Y23 SPA is 100% sure that its treatments are highly safe and effective. Since you are paying for Y23 SPA's time, products and all other expenses used to provide your service, no refunds will be given for any reason. If you are not satisfied with your services, please contact Y23 SPA as soon as possible to work on resolving any issues.
